If you're like me, and you've been on a perpetual search for the perfect pair of pants, you may want to check out the 5.11 Tactical Apex Pants.

We've both had a pair of these pants for quite some time now and can give you a thorough review.

The tactical Apex pants are made from 5.11's FlexTac mechanical stretch canvas, so they feel strong and durable like canvas pants but do have a little bit of a stretch to them. The articulated knees add flexibility to the pants when squatting or climbing.

These pants come standard with an angled, low rise waistband that also has a little extra stretch on the sides which helps with comfort as well as concealed carry. This stretch doesn't keep them from fitting true to size though.

As far as durability, we've been really pleased. They've taken a beating doing all kinds of work, crawling around in the woods, cutting wood, building fires, and even a few hours of sitting on the couch!

We haven't been easy on these pants and have only noticed picks in them after walking through briars.
