While recently in Colorado chasing Merriam's turkeys, Adrian had the opportunity to sit down with Mia Anstine, host of the MAC Outdoors Podcast, and record an episode. Keep reading, and click the link to listen!
We had a fantastic trip and were able to experience a little bit of everything. We arrived to freezing temperatures and snow in the mountains and then found ourselves trekking through wet mud in the lower elevations. We rode horses, hiked national forests, and even threw in a little prairie dog hunting.
And even better, we had the opportunity to make some new friends and chase turkeys!
I don't think there is anything in the Outdoor Industry that Mia doesn't do! She is an outdoor writer, featured in several nationally-known publications. Mia is also a licensed outfitter, hunting guide, life coach, keynote speaker, range safety officer, firearms instructor, and archery instructor. And, as if that wasn't enough, she can be found regularly at state and federal capitol buildings fighting for our gun and hunting rights.
On a recent episode of that podcast is where she and Adrian had the opportunity to spend some time discussing our trip. You can listen to the whole PODCAST HERE, or check it out on your favorite podcast listening platform. She and Adrian dug into our hunting adventures from each day and told some fun stories about the whole experience.
They even delve a bit into how we started, where Review This Thing is right now, and how thankful we are that we are steadily growing.
It's hard to believe that just those few short weeks ago we were on the brink of hitting 10,000 YouTube subscribers! Now, our channel is consistently gaining ground closer and closer to 11,000! Thank you all for subscribing and watching our videos each week. We couldn't keep doing it without you.

Robbie has enjoyed the outdoors since he can remember. His earliest memories include hours upon hours of squirrel hunting and learning how to enjoy all aspects of hunting season in God's wonderful outdoors. Now he is always working hard and testing gear in the field to give you the best review and most thorough information he possibly can.
